Puifín on calm blue water off the Kerry coast

Askeaton · Kilrush · Foynes

Where we collect you

Three berths on the Shannon Estuary and the Clare coast. Two work to the tide, so we confirm your sailing window when we quote.

  • Askeaton

    Fifteen minutes from Adare Manor

Tidal. We confirm your departure window when we quote.

  • Kilrush

    Kilrush Marina, west Clare

Tidal. We confirm your departure window when we quote.

  • Foynes Yacht Club

Deep-water berth on the Shannon Estuary

    Deep water, no tidal restriction.

What tidal means for your day

Askeaton and Kilrush sit on water that empties and fills with the tide, so there is a window each day when the boat can come and go. That window moves by roughly fifty minutes a day, which is why no one can publish a timetable for them.

Send us your date. We work the times back from the tide and put them in writing with the quotation. If the window will not suit your schedule, Foynes Yacht Club is a deep-water berth with no such restriction, and we will say so rather than let you find out late.
